The cards themselves are based on an interpretation of tarot through the lens of Darisa, a rich story world with years of creative work poured into it. The title “Lomisht” translates from this world’s language to “card set.” Hints about the world, its mythology, and its people are spread through the entire deck, with alternate names and unique depictions for each of the Major Arcana. This said, we have taken care that each card is still recognizable, honoring elements and motifs from traditional tarot.
This deck includes the standard 78 cards found in every tarot deck (22 Major and 56 Minor Arcana cards). Additionally, 3 further Major Arcana and 3 Minor Arcana cards have been created specifically for this deck, bringing the total up to 84 cards. These can be removed for a traditional experience, but are included as part of the larger work, a glimpse into the fictional world reflected in the cards.
**This is a gently used deck. All the cards are accounted for and we have done an energetic cleansing on it--we encourage you to do your own, like you'd do with any deck you bring home!
